Child Dedication

Hope believes that children are a gift from God. We are thrilled that you want to dedicate your child/ children to the Lord.

Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family. The dedication service provides you, the parent(s), with an opportunity to publicly express your desire to raise your child according to God’s Word and God’s ways.

Child dedication is a meaningful moment of commitment—for your family and for our church. Here’s what we ask:

  • Parent(s) are committed to following Jesus
  • Hope is your home church, and you’re regularly part of the life here
  • You’ll meet with an elder or attend a child dedication class to prepare
