We are seeking a talented and passionate Worship Leader for our church! 

Hope Community Church is a community-minded church in Willow Grove, PA that welcomes believers and non-believers into a family where genuine relationships are formed, people are cared for, and the Holy Spirit is at work transforming people’s lives. We are a church of around 140 people, and we believe our best ministry happens in teams. We love helping people discover their gifts and use them to serve Jesus in ministry.

At our church, we believe corporate worship is one of the most important things we do as a community. We’re prayerfully looking for a part-time Worship Leader to help lead our people into God’s presence through worship that is modern and faithful.

What we’re looking for:

  • Most of all, a worshiper’s heart shaped by your own relationship with God
  • Strong vocal ability and skill on an instrument (guitar, piano, or keyboard)
  • A heart for building up and leading a team
  • Willingness to grow comfortable with new technology

We’re looking for the right person more than a specific number of hours. The position is flexible, ranging from 10-15 hours per week, depending on your availability, gifts, and desired level of involvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the vision and values of Hope within the worship ministry
  • Lead worship for our Sunday Morning Experience
  • Coordinate with the Lead Pastor on overall themes and direction
  • Create set lists, schedule the team, and lead weekly rehearsals
  • Oversee Sunday morning tech, including sound, presentation, and livestream
  • Support, troubleshoot, and improve our audio and video systems
  • Seek out and develop the gifts of people in our church family, growing involvement in worship and tech ministry
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and weekly one-on-one meetings
