Child Dedication

Hope believes that children are a gift from God. We are thrilled that you want to dedicate your child/ children to the Lord.

Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family. The dedication service provides you, the parent(s), with an opportunity to publicly express your desire to raise your child according to God’s Word and God’s ways.

Guidelines for Child Dedications at Hope:

  • Parent(s) must be committed to following Jesus​
  • Hope must be your home church where you regularly attend​
  • Parent(s) need to be ​member of Hope, since child dedication is an expression of the partnership between our church and your family​
  • You must meet with an elder or attend a child dedication class​
